We couldn’t be happier with Suzy Q’s work so we hope you enjoy (no longer available for purchase on her site). Also, special thanks to Mikey for adding additional coverage and even going above and beyond recording the ceremony for us! It was such an amazing surprise to us and a fabulous gift for all of those who wanted to come, but could not attend. As for me and Michael, we’ve been adjusting to the new house and learning how to fix everything ourselves as opposed to calling a landlord. As you can imagine, hilarity ensues…

Thanks to everyone who came out to brave the TX heat. It was a really wonderful time and I’m so glad most of you could make it out to Austin to share this special event with me and Michael. We really appreciate it and enjoyed spending time with our new families. I will be posting photos and videos on this site as soon as I get them. Although the big event is over, we plan on keeping this site up for updates about us and our adventures in married life. Anytime you would like an update on us, feel free to check on us here!

relaxing after the hectic day

The countdown to our wedding weekend has begun! There are tons of loose ends to tie up for the event, but hopefully there won’t be any major problems. We also have some other great news, we are buying a house! I know most of you think we are crazy to take on something that huge on top of the wedding planning, but we did it! Both Michael and I are super excited to start our married life off with such a BIG change. Thanks everyone who helped us through the crazy process!

We got the rest of our photos from the engagement session! Also, invitations have gone out and I am looking forward to collecting RSVP’s. It’s hard to believe how fast it’s coming up!

Spring is in the air around Austin! Warm breezes, birds chirping and everyone seems to have brought out their summer clothing already. This is the type of weather that makes young kids (and grown adults) gaze wistfully outside wishing for recess.  Needless to say, I can’t concentrate much on wedding planning with all this going on; good thing all the big stuff has been taken care off. Michael and I are also quite busy with guests visiting all month. It’s really wonderful that we get to share this fabulous weather with our friends and family from the north. We’ve been engaged for less than a month and it has been a whirlwind effort putting this shindig together. I didn’t think it was possible to have this much done so quickly. But thanks to family and friends, the event is taking form and I can almost visualize it now. An amazing feat for a girl who never gave much thought about what her own wedding would be like! Again, thank you all so much for your help and support. I am so excited to see this all coming together and I can’t wait for all of you to come and share it with us!
